EEEPC 900 has nasty hardware defect on it’s mouse buttons, which causes that they stop working after a while. I myself encountered issue, and discarded my eeepc into shelf to collect dust due to that.
However, there seems to be cure for the problem, and it’s also rather easy to apply, and it seems to work (at least for a moment):

Basically I just followed steps, and did some rough cleaning on connector plate and connectors with very small flat screwdriver,
put everything back together, and done.
Just noting this down here, in case I need to reapply this fix in the future.
Update 21.2.2012:
Do not try to use Flashfire with EEEPC 900. I tried, and as end result I get corrupted disc. So beware of that utility. From positive point of view, utility helped with slow fake-SSD of this machine, but danger of disc corruption is high price for that.
