Two weeks has now passed since I came here. And for some reason it feels that it has been much longer time what it in reality is, while at the same time, days seem to pass very fast. Very strange indeed.
Today Linda is feeling much better, which is good for both of us. And since it’s now our second weekly anniversary, we decide to celebrate it a bit somehow. As always, Linda has to go to work, for fulltime on this week. So I’m spending my time with computer. Browsing net, and such.
Also, I’m spending quite a bit of time resolving problems with my Clie keyboard thingie. And investigating nice looking videocams. Sadly I find out that interesting Panasonic AV100 cam is appearently no-go buy for me, since it supports only NTSC video output. Not very convenient in Finland! Thus I’ve to seek for other options and find out that there is upgrade model of Panasonic, SDR-S100 which is much better looking device. However, also too pricy one. 1000e is simply too much for such a toy!
After spending whole day inside, strange way to spend vacation, we decide go to visit Atlanta Botanical Garden to celebrate our weekly anniversary. ”Niki in the Garden” -exbihition is going on in garden, which is great interest to my Linda, since anyway she is very creative and artistic person. Kind of like her mother, who is very great painter. I’ve seen some paintings done by her mother, and I’m simply amazed by them.
Would can be said. Exhibition is great, and I enjoy my company very much. We have great time together and wander around the garden.
Day comes to end and we sit down in the garden, watching magical flow of water in magnificient fountain, drinking lemonade. Lemonade, not wide, due to two reasons, number one is that Linda ain’t drinking it, and secondly, we would have been served it on plastic cups, not glasses 😉
After all we have to leave garden, when closing time arrives at 22h. After that we aim ourselves into grocery store, since we are running out of bread. Sadly we miss the store, since it was closed already at 22, not at 23 like Linda recalled. So we need to seek for backup. We end up visiting one gas station and trying to find necessary thingies from there. In gas station, Homer -effect strikes, and we have to buy doughnuts…; not only bread like we intended to.
But that means only that we have nice late night coffee break together, enjoying being together, and eating doughnuts… hmmmmm… dougnuts…, (drool), hmmmmmm…
